Everyone can help by taking a hard and painful look at the attitudes and behaviors that perpetuate sexual violence, and then assess how these behaviors and attitudes support rape and/or child sexual abuse. The Women’s Center of San Joaquin County offers a comprehensive prevention education program which strives to empower children and adults by teaching them to recognize potentially harmful situations and what skills to use for self-protection.
