Shelters

The Women’s Center offers an immediate safe haven for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault through it’s emergency shelter programs. Victims may stay in the program for up to 60 days. While in the program, victims are also offered additional supportive programs and access/referrals to community resources.

Our Shelters

DAWN (Direction for Abused Women in Need), established in 1979, is the agency’s first and largest shelter in Stockton, housing up to 31 women and children. DAWN supports victims residing in San Joaquin County

TREE (Tracy Refuse for Empowerment ad Education) was established in 2003 through a partnership with Sutter Tracy Hospital. TREE House has the capacity to service up to 8 women and children and supports victims in San Joaquin County.
