Home > Assistance > Counseling Sexual Assault Counseling for Children and TeensThe trauma of sexual abuse can be devastating. Without the necessary treatment the effects can last a lifetime. The Women’s Center works year round to provide counseling services to children and teens, promoting prevention and improving systems that serve victims. Certified peer counselors offer counseling services for males and females between the ages of 3 and 17. SymptomsVictims of sexual assault may experience some of the following symptoms:

All counseling services are confidential within the guidelines of the mandated reporting laws for minors. Services are offered in English and in Spanish and are free of charge.
